160307'yay. went out with char, carol and jieshi to celebrate jieshi's bday. and sort of mine too..
so we wanted to go fareast, and went to watch stomp the yard first. nicenice. although the starting is v. messy.. after show, jieshi needed to go le:/ so we found this nice mirror in the corner of the entrance of isetan scotts and took pics. haha, people walking past must think we were crazy!! after that the 3 of us went fareast, we shopped around, ate, talked, posed and were SILLYsilly. thanks, i really enjoyed myself today. thanks mouldy, eeyore, and piglet version2 :))

3 days of common tests. and speech day rehearsal. i cant play the sch song!! and they changed the nicenice dancing with the wind, dancing in the wind to yiddish. ergh. so that we dont have to practise extra i guess..
i think i did real badly for my tests since i was rushing through to study. didnt even properly read through. and wasnt strong enough to stay up until 4am, unlike someone. sigh sigh.
oh yes, back to band. speech day rehearsal was weird that day. because this 2 clarinettist came and tutored us for like, 30mins? and they were jap and couldnt speak english that well. so it was real weird to see the band room chairless except for our 5 chairs. after then we went to the hall to ask the 2ndclar to come. we were in middle of yiddish... after like, 20mins we went back to bandroom!! ergh. waste time luh. i would like to see you try carrying chairs, clarinet, stand, file, jacket, waterbottle. hmph! although i got some help:)

im out:( today the conductors came soo early!! 1.10.. when i just bought my nice bowl of soup, gilllian came down and told us to go up. cos they came already. we were like, honestly, extremely annoyed. (in other words, wth) so we quicky assembled. no fall in even. cos they were listening to the day ago's yiddish recorded by our SC. they were in deep discussion kay. so were were as quiet as possible. then she was like: u, u and u u u. go outside. i will test you now. !!!!!! i can remember very clearly that aqila wished me all the best. and i failed. miserably.
we played the high notes, C to G, and then ng and emily couldnt. out to practice. then play yiddish, running notes. emily, then me, sree, then ng and jiahui. out. practice like mad. it was worse for us 3rd clar because we were facing ms sia directly. she was testing flute. cant even sit down for a while or slack at all. while ng and jiahui were outside hall, blocked by staircase! they could pop out for a while and sit. no such luck for me! afterwards, test again, cannot, out. jiahui could, she stayed. myrra cant, out. jerine and elaine, stayed. in the end. she sent those that could to join seniors. tested ng me and sree. i think she gave up hope on emily. we couldnt play!! ng out. then ms sia was so annoyed, so
pissed. that she just walked off. at 3pm. we were waiting until band ended! cos we couldnt just leave like that. at around 3.20, i made a stupid mistake to go talk to ng, who was still standing at the staircase. spotted ms sia, rushed back, too late. she stared at me and went back in. i felt terrible!! we were so ashamed to go back and face our seniors.
i know they tried to be friendly-ish. but it must have been disappointing. that only 1 out of 5 juniors made it. and we heard that ms sia scolded huimin. for not being a good SL. that wasnt her fault! huimin even once asked us if, if we(juniors) could not play well, would we think it was the seniors fault. we all said no. yet, this type of thing happened.
