well. i could have blogged last week but im a lazy girl. so, here i am, on the eve of teacher's day. will proceed to tell you about my celebrations now.
these 2 weeks i was really busy with alot of tests and therefore was too busy to well, post. but im glad my tests are over :)
shall update on : Band, Misc and TDay
BAND. we are rapidly practising the songs for the Creative Musical Challange. cant wait for Disco Lives! haha. there is a lot of pressure to do well, and sometimes i just do not think i can do as well as 5. that is my dream. i try, but the score is hard and i take too long to read the notes. sigh. i hope there will be a time where i can be proud of myself and my place in band.

cedar open house this sunday!! im not volunteering but should be going there to listen lah. hopefully :] cant wait to hear all the songs. im sure they will be excellent. even without the sec4s.

MISC. okay, 2 things for misc. the 1st one is about CRuSH. sigh. im really sad that the program has come to an end. i really enjoyed MissCynthia teaching us, though at first i thought it was a waste of time. my mindset changed at the end of the 1st lesson. hmm, must rmb 2 continue to post at the forum. yupps, its nice and i wish i could have become an e-mentor. :{

the second thing is kinda un-blog-worthy. i went to TM on sunday and saw this booth on name stickers. those cute 1s that have a cartoon that you can print your name on. so i was kind of excited because the promotion was on Disney's Cuties. that = Piglet. anyway, i managed to contact Ng and she was fine with sharing. i then settled for lunch with my parents before going back to that booth. my mum and i spent a long time choosing and deciding, leaving my dad more than irritated. so was the salesperson. i finally got my hands on the stickers! oh yes, i also bought this nicenice pair of pj's from Kiddy Palace. heehee

TDAY. today was the celebrations! it was not as interesting as i thought it would. to start off, it rained on our way to school. its not easy sharing an umbrella with simin. because... i dont know. it just isnt. that caused my floorball game to be cancelled as captain's ball was to be held in the hall. bleargh. i did not do much during 7+ to 8+. we wanted to play wacko but it wasnt fun due to some people's self-invitation... then i ended up organising a game with eeyores, joy and tigger. we played the tap-tap game. and me and tig were the last 2 left standing. eeyore 1 was lan. the concert was good, but i had to present the gift. asst monitress duties. i missed quite a bit and heard some gossip on the way. hee. mr khoo is seriously weird. umm...when i went up to join the rest, the whole concert was good. not marvellous, but good. it could bring a smile to my already-black face. hmm. i want to make nxt yr's concert more unique. not so bland. the games were good. and the amira part as well. :))

i have finally found the time to update on my national day celebrations. suppose if i hadnt been so busy it would have been sooner.

we lined up to go to the second level, to watch the uniform groups march, and to hear my seniors play too. i managed to stand next to sya and we tried our best to spot as many seniors as we could. afterwards, we enjoyed to music and found out that : cedarians cheer when the UG do their marching neatly. well, it IS a discovery. anyway, we then sang the national anthem, then proceeded downstairs to the courtyard for the mass dance. it was kind of a failure. for my class anyway. because there wasnt enough space! yup. then we went to MPH for the celebrations!. they started with the boring part: award ceremony. that dragged... then COPE people and some dance volunteers did a, well, dance. quite cool to see elderly moving so co-ordinatedly :)

we then started the community singing. oh yes, NOT forgetting the ' lights out' . i suppose it was that guy's favourite part yea? okay, back to the topic. the community singing was THE BEST!!! loved it totally. it made me and my fellow friends feel so high and nice. we sang stand up for singapore, and we were already jumping about... then the torchlights were so nice! and they even had bubbles and streamers in the end. managed to pop 1 and grab 2 (:

then, since we were already so high and energised, me and char and xy and simin stayed for a while to do the mass dance. twice. this time, so much more fun than before. caro and joy left early because of some problem. when me and char went back to class, there was a note about caro taking char's bag... mine was still, thankfully, at my seat. we went to the ' dining hall' where the guides were serving food. chatted to amirah, who wasnt free (sob), then running to the foyer, where we spotted caro impatiently waiting with CrystalG.we walked out of the gates : me, char, xy, simin, caro, crystal. we made up plans while walking then it was decided that i was going out with char and xy. on the train, we got a call frm amirah who might join us..

plans changed. it was only at CityLink when amirah confirmed... so, we went Marina Square to get tickets for The Lake House. we loitered for a bit, and at that time it was only 11.40. movie was at 12. we rushed down at 11.50 to try and help a lost amirah. then we went back to the cinema for popcorn before entering the cinema. just nice, only 2 trailers[i think] before the movie. it proved to be a good and touching show. i recommended it. hint.

ahem, we also fooled around awhile, having rowdy fun that you only experience with close friends. besides, these were the friends whom i usually went out with. because they were normally free. but thats beside the point. we took a long time taking pics at the escalators and trying to find a pretty toilet. yep, toilet-hunting. we are a fascinating bunch, i know. i even bumped into eunice and co. [joyce, jiayee, andrea] andrea's hair is LONGG.. really. then we decided to grab a bite at KFC. almost were lost by the spaciousness. too much space isnt good.. i have experienced and decide.

ah-har. went home around 4. was very tired but i endured. yes. and then slept when i got home. hahaha. i shall blog again when i feel like it.

maybe i will progress to more 'advanced' posts. or should i be me?
im changing. maybe in a bad way, maybe in a good way. i dont know yet. but its all too weird for me. too fast, too slow, too much changes. i dont like it, that's for sure. but its not like i can do anything about it. not even if i try really, really hard.
