Yes! today is the last rehearsal of Deck the Halls... DTH is actually carolling organised by me church... we go to specific void decks [thus the name] and sing songs and act out a skit 4 them. There will be over 200 kids waiting 4 us, so rather excited cos its my 1st time doing this.. i onli joined this yr but they alredi had the same program last yr... so.. aniwae, sorry i only blogged abt this event now, its actually been gg on 4 quite a while, i think around Sept?? and its gg 2 be in Yishun on 5 diff blks on Sat, 17 Dec... i travel so far every wkend jus 2 go church there! its a very interesting and active 1, so i dun mind... I am off track agn.. now, the 5 songs we would be singing are : Joy to the World, Ring the Bells, If You are Happy and You Know it, That's the love of God and Feliz Navidad... most of u havent heard of the 2nd, 4th and 5th songs... my personal fav. is Ring the Bells cos its very lively and short... That's . its a slow song, and its not that ultra easy 2 sing... If you. is v. boring 2 sing, Feliz is nice, funny and short, while Joy is well, christmas-y...
On Sunday which is also TKK's [children service] Yummy Sunday, is actually Graduation day... ok, kids age 2-4 are under Mustard Seed, age 5-6 are Sycamore, age 7-9 are Olives and age 10-12 are called Cedars.. names of plants... smallest 2 biggest... so, its the last day of the yr 4 children service, so ppl will graduate into a higher group... as 4 me, since I am 13 nxt yr, I would join the Teen Service, which is called Radical Zone, or RZone 4 short... thats for 13-14 yr olds... when u hit 15 u graduate 2 the main[adult] service... okies, after that brief bit of history, back 2 subject... as the day is called Yummy Sunday, of cos that means food, and if u realise that Sunday=Sundae, u would noe what sort of food we would be having...yupx, ice-cream.. so we r supposed 2 bring frens 2 church 2 share in the joy of graduation.. of cos, i noe u r not gg 2 want 2 travel so far 4 the sake of ice-cream, but if u do wanna, juz tell me on me tag-board or sumting okies?? rite, i blogged abt a bit of me life alredi, and now i gotta zzz ...till next time, good-bye and hav a happy holiday!! - Sherry the Cherry
