Serengeti trek is actually the name of my church [Evangel Family Church] camp .... it was held frm 22 - 24 nov ... The slogan was :' Where kids are wild about God!' so it was extremely fun and also good for my spiritual life ... We started at 11am and were split into 4 grps : Kifaru [Rhino], Tembo [Elephant] , Punda Milia [Zebra] and Nyumbu [Wildebeast] .... the names were actually in Swahili .... thus the weirdness ..guess mine? Kifaru ...! .. Hahaz , sounds the nicest 2 me aniwae .. Although it pains me to type my group members, I would do so ... : Dexter, Alan, Japheth, Nicholas, Luke, Aaron, Nelwyn, Christine, Lee Yin, Michelle, Shi Min, Mandy, Erlyn and of cos my gd fren Olivia ... I wont go into detail of wat happened these 2 and a 1/2 days, but some quick facts are: Food was great, Activities were not sleeping pills, Shower time was horrendous [nvr agn!], Hibernate Hour [nap time] was no use at all, .. Operation Kid-2-Kid was a success, sermons were soul-searching, teachers were fun but rather strict, we really worked 2gether as a team n during the camp, i realli bonded wif my church-mates... Most of all thou, I never regretted gg 4 this camp or paying $33 for it. Wouldnt hav minded it being longer, if i weren't so anxious abt my results ....

The Big Day has arrived...
By the time I reached the sch hall abt 1/2 of the class was alredi there... when Mrs Tan started the hall was filled and parents were surrounding the entrances, inc. mine ... it was revealed that JacLeow was top girl wif a score of 266... and there were many others that were close behind... Me? I managed 2 get into Special ... althou wont tell u how much! If ya wanna noe, can ask me! Most likely will tell u!...We hanged around 4 a while and me mum talked to Mdm Yeo abt whether i should take Special stream or not.. afterwards we headed to Marina Square and watch HP and the GOF .. I found it extremely disappointing .. they missed out so many parts inc. Dobby, Winky, Hannah Abbot, Ludo Bagman and tons more. They rewrote some parts like the Dobby 1 and didn't even film in detail, jumping here and there... so the whole thing was not filmed skilfully....Hopefully the 5th movie would be better, althou i doubt it very much.....i dun think they should keep on changing directors n scriptwriters..
P.S. This movie is the only 1 out of the 4 that me mum understands.. Therefore I can tell how badly filmed it was.....2 simple..

2day was the last day of the sch term ... the very last day .... the entire scenario was a very noisy , and towards the end, a very sad 1 ... cutting short , we spent almost the entire day running around taking pics wif frens and teachers , n also of de sch ....and writing autobios ... l8r after our 1hr recess.... we went 2 the canteen and then cos every1 was in a mess and still rushing 2 do those 2 things, ms. j. had 2 use a loudhailer 2 get our attn. hahas~ the noise lvl went down quickly n then so long as we were more or less seated around our classes...... we were fine . then there was a mad rush 4 peeps 2 sign our autobio. bks ..... when they said that we could go after saying the Angel of God prayer ... then as Claud was sitting nearest 2 me , i hugged her 1st ... then i started 2 cry .. hugged Venus, Kim Ng. and then l8r when every1 dismissed , found Jean. n Aishah and then hugged 2 ... afterwards 4 of us [A,V,J n me] group hugged. Venus left afterwards and when i was gg 2 leave 4 my bus the tears jus kept on coming , and then kept crying until abt 2 min l8r or sumthing ... the 3 of them then went 2 look 4 mrs tan to sign autobio. bk ... i really felt a rush of emotion as i left the sch ....... CHIJ (Katong) Primary School was my school, my place of education for 4 years ... there were so many moments, memories here ... i know that all gd things come 2 an end one day [ tian xia mei you bu san zhi xi] but it still hurts ... parting hurts so much ... here is where i spent carefree days ... i would miss the building, the classrooms , the teachers [nagging], the food and yes, even Mrs Tan ... all these everyday characters of my life .... its so weird 2 know that i am, in a way , not really an IJ girl anymore ... wont hear the Angel of God anymore , no more sch song, no more classmates, no more moving abt in the sch ... it was the end. zip. nada. no more. bye IJ ... goodbye. ..

Well, I figured it was time to blog after so many days of 'hiatus'... i had been meaning to blog 4 a while alredi, juz nvr got around to it .. there's also nuffing much interestng about my life ...
oh yeah! on friday 11/11, i did go watch ' Just Like Heaven' with a ... friend ... n as usual, took neoprints agn! hahaz~ i am on a craze ... i dont want to gush or anything .... but that movie is DEFINITELY going to be my fav. movie 4 the year! i ..... adore? ... it!
rewinding ... the day b4 was the grad party 4 all the p6 pupils ... i didnt go thou, and so did a few others .. the point is, i heard that our play (Parody of HP and the POA) was a hit! and that Aishah won Miss IJ and the Sister Finbar award! i'm proud of u aishah! *sobz*
*clears throat* updating on 2day, it was an extremely boring day 4 me ... all attempts of playing rat attack have failed quite miserably ... there was stoopid hymn practise ... i ended up playing boring Payday ... only managed to get a gd game of Speed here and there ... ALL monitress and prefects and LEAP members left 2 watch this performance thingy .. leaving us : me, Eunice, Sherlyn, Samantha, Alvina, Rena and Yvonne with Ms Joseph .. who brought us over to EM 6 .. we went back to AM 6 at 11.30 pm 4 Mdm Yeo's class where the others crowded around Rena's caterpillar and traumatised it... haha~ and then Eunice started showing us her signatures ... they only returned at abt 12.20 pm ... i was so lethargic by then ... the whole class seemed extremely noisy after 20 min of silence ... then after a few rounds of Speed wif K while 2 J and V played Payday ... K was writing her autobio. at that time ... finally the bell rang ... worst thing of all ... there's art competition 2mrw ... and its so super duper icky ... hate on-the-spot types .. seems that only our sch has it .... anyways ... will put in my best effort ... it is my last 1 after all ... *sobz*

On Saturday i went to Aishah's house .... she had a Hari Raya party there .. she invited me, Venus, Jeanette, Jillian, Mei Qing, Jia Yee, Nicole, Catherine, Jac. Bong, Bernadine, Joyce, Andrea, Dawn and Joan .... got 5 more but they didnt come ...
i can say that the party was a hit.... when i arrived they were showing HP and the POA ... afterwards it was lunch ... and then we juz basically did our own things like play games or PC ( me, v, joyce, jy and a were playing HP Cluedo while Jeanette and a few others played PC ) Somehow or other we ended up having a pillow fight ... we all started attacking Aishah then afterwards it was just a free rein sort of thing ... that was exhausting, tiring but FUN! MQ sort of went mad and used a big, huge pillow .... we tumbled out of her room , 10+ sweaty young ladies ... haha ...
Some of the other details were a big foggy ... cos 2 days alredi mah! dun scold mi! hahas~ we played a funny game of hide n seek ... q. stoopid actually cos house so small so easy to find 10+ ppl in 2 rooms ... all's in the name of fun lah! i think that many ppl started leaving after that @ around 4 like that ... Jac. Bong left quite early, then later Dawn left , then Nicole, then Catherine until in the end only go MQ, Jillian, Jeanette, Venus, Me and Bernadine .... MQ, J and Aishah were doing this weird sisterhood thing... while us 4 sane ones did normal stuff .. then we group 2gether and played this 'lingo' thing using Aishah's sash ... then 1/2 way Jeanette's dad came and we left cos they fetch mi ... but i heard that J left at 7+ while V i think around 8 ... B left right after us and MQ was last i THINK ... not sure ...
The impt thing is that i really enjoyed meself that day ... thankies aishah 4 organising such a memorable party ... u go, girl!
