Wonderful. Memorable. Sweet. Perfect. The lovely memory of our 4 days in Perth is vividly in my mind.... Okies, enuf of that 'seafood'... Seriously thou, i thoroughly enjoy the holiday in Perth.. I had only juz came back frm it yesterday...During the trip, the teachers were loosened up and relaxed, and the Aussies were really friendly 2... I will start frm the beginning!..
Perth -- The Flight: My flight there was truly enjoyable... I seated in the middle row wif Nien-An on my right and Venus on my left....the food was not yucky as i expected flight food 2 be...it was even yummy...... N-A fell asleep be4 the supper arrived so she didnt manage to eat it...the teachers were walking up n down 2 make sure we didnt talk 2 much as there were other passengers wanting 2 sleep...it was a midnight flight u see.... we arrived in perth at around 5-6? cant really remember.... Anyway, i am able 2 boast that their airport is not as nice as ours ^-^...
Perth -- The Farmstay: The farmstay was 2D1N n during that time we milked a cow, saw a sheep being sheared, rode a pony/horse...etc. There was also this trampoline where u can jump n jump n jump... but i didnt do that.. didnt look steady enuf... I did milk the cow and ride a pony thou... it was so fun!~ Wont trade that experience 4 the world!
We went to our cabin almost as soon as we arrived.. whilst those that werent assigned cabins juz went cabin-hopping! (in a manner of speaking...) The food was also pure Aussie... oriental breakfast wif fruits and orange juice... but we also had ice-cream 4 nite.. We also did a bit of star-gazing.. that was cool coz no flashlights were allowed.. n by the time it was 5+ .. it looks like 9 already... then the farmer in his Aussie accent ... explained abt Big Dipper and the other constellations... we were quite fascinated( most of us) and ultra quiet...
After that.. abt half of the original group left for another farm to stay the nite...that's why they werent assigned any cabins coz there were not enough to accomodate 120 of us... those who stayed, however, did a bit of exploring, juz a bit , coz it was really ultra dark..so we had to fully depend on the flashlights.. we almost couldnt find the way... other groups had their own hilarioius experience but i wont blog it .... i remember my group as Andrea, Dawn, Joan, Venus, Bernadine, Me, Fawn, Nien-An, Jac Leow ... 4give me if i got it wrong ...
Next morning, Fawn, Nien-An and I went down the trail to explore... it was very breezy and the air was fresh.. we saw some animals and dung(eww.).. During the farmstay, the farmer did drive us in the bumpy tractor.. it was half TU and half AM.. Mrs Kua was also in it.... it was really bumpy and really windy.. enjoyable thou..we walked through many hectares of land and saw so many diff species of organisms! Quite unbelievable... we drank in every word the farmer said.. thou i cant remember much now! ;) ... All i stress is that i think i enjoyed the farmstay most of all throughout the entire trip... We were given a chance to be tough 'n' rough and shed the city girl in us...4 the 2 days aniwae!..
